  2. Thank you. It is hard to find a male narrative context for self care. The term “Self care” is unlikely to come up organically among men during a half-time break of a football game. If a man does not attend to self maintenance and improvement, the lack will fall on others around him.

  3. There is not enough acceptance of self-care for men. Men are expected to work and work and are judged by our careers and how much money we bring home. Self care is seen as weak. .. unlike for women where there is acceptance and norm for self care by society
